Join ArtReach Orlando for a mindful and calming Child and Family Neurographic Art Workshop, where creativity becomes a shared experience for all ages. In this hands-on session, families will explore neurographic art, a gentle and intuitive drawing process using flowing lines, shapes, and color to promote relaxation, focus, and stress relief. Participants will also explore different art materials to add color, including watercolors, brush markers, and color pencils. No art experience needed.
Guided by ArtReach Orlando’s supportive teaching artists, children and caregivers will create meaningful artwork side by side in a peaceful and welcoming environment. The workshop encourages mindfulness and self-expression while strengthening family connection through creativity.
Slow down, breathe, and create together. Discover how mindful art making can help your family feel more connected, relaxed, and inspired. All materials included.
This program is presented by ArtReach Orlando and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
About the Presenter:
ArtReach Orlando provides art programs for youth experiencing difficult economic and/or social situations who may not have access to the arts. Through the creative process, we are exploring the link between art, social justice, and the healing process. Many of our students struggle with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Through art and self-expression, youth can safely explore these issues and create personal solutions that develop their self-worth and emotional resilience. By fostering creativity, we are encouraging and empowering young people to imagine the positive changes they wish to see in their own lives, their communities, and the world.
