Ecstatic Equinox 2025! Ow OWWWW!

We dearly love celebrating the changing tides of the sun with community, dance, and if our feet aren’t dirty- are we even celebrating??

And that’s exactly what we’re doing on this Ecstatic Equinox. Celebrating the rhythm of life; the transition from summer to fall; the balance of day & night; & the transition into longer nights.

We have DJ Dara Rishi throwing down the rhythms of afro house, deep house, and downtempo. Dara has a gift of weaving beats with thought-provoking lyrics. Expect to be taken on a ride of addicting rhythm combined with deep meaning… perfect for this Fall Equinox✨

Padme Belly is BACK with her delicious fall menu- equipped with delicious soups, grilled cheeses, thirst-quenching fizzy yummy drinks, and more. Because how could we dance this hard & not enjoy yummy homemade food after??

Because it’s the Equinox, we love bringing in some extra treats. For this dance, we’re bringing in some adornment with Henna Art By Mehwish! Set your intentions for the fall, weave them in to your adorned design, feel in awe of them & be reminded of your intention days-weeks after the dance.

Prices start at $15 for adults and $12 for kids. Come early to make sure you get your design in!

Speaking of early.. we’re doing things a little different this go-around.

Join us from 6-7pm, before doors open, for a fascial maneuver class facilitated by Anthony Vieira also known as @ants_humble_abode. Fascial maneuvers are gentle, intentional movements that unwind tension, improve circulation, and reset the nervous system- purrrrrrfect to do before the dance; it’s like hitting reset on your body so you can dance w more ease, freedom, & connection. Sign up separately for $10✨

And to really top off this celebration, we’re opening the space with a cacao ceremony to really drop us into our hearts & most authentic expression.

Following the ceremony, we dive into an introduction to contact improv guided by Noonnahs. This is a playful, improvised dance where 2 or more people move together by sharing touch, weight, and momentum. It’s about sharing trust, balance, and connection- making the equinox alive in the body; the dance of polarity, the practice of balance, the ritual of trust.
